GENERAL PROGRAM INFORMATION Hillandale Sports Association offers a Winter Basketball Program for Boys and Girls, Pre-K (ages 3, 4 and 5) through 6th Grade. Once registration begins there is limited availability for each Age Division and registrants will be accepted on a first-come, first serve basis. Age Divisions - based on current school year - Pre-K (must be 3 by August 1, 2011) - K and 1st Grade - 2nd and 3rd Grade - 4th, 5th and 6th Grade Locations for Practices and Games - Pre-K League (Holt Elementary) - K and 1st Grade (Holt Elementary or Hillandale Elementary) - 2nd and 3rd Grade (Hillandale Elementary or Easley Elementary) - 4th, 5th and 6th Grade (Easley Elementary) Times for Practices and Games - Each team has one practice and one game per week - Practices are held Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, 6:15pm or 7:15pm. - Games are held on Saturdays Please Note: (6:15pm) Practices are used for the Pre-K, K-1 and 2-3 Grade Leagues. If those leagues are forced to use later times due to high program enrollment, families will be contacted and informed of this prior to their child being placed in a 7:15pm practice time slot. (7:15pm) Practice Times are used for the 4th, 5th and 6th Grade Leagues. Those leagues are not assigned 6:15pm practice times due to limited gym availability at that time. Cost - $75.00 per registrant (includes uniforms and other affiliated program costs) - players are responsible for providing own sneakers Program Calender - Monday, October 10 (Registration Opens) - Sunday, November 20 (Registration Closes) - Monday, November 21 (Waiting List and Late Fees Begin) - Sunday, November 27 (Rosters Finalized and Emailed) - Tuesday, November 29 (Coaches Meeting and Clinic) - Monday, December 5 (Practices Begin) - December 19 - January 1 (Winter Break) - Monday, January 2 (Practices Resume) - Saturday, January 7 (Games Begin) - Saturday, February 4 (Picture Day) - Saturday, February 25 (Last Day of Games) WINTER 2011 REGISTRATION Registration for Basketball and Cheerleading is now CLOSED.
