| The HSA registration fee provides insurance, a shirt, hat, and an award at the end of the season for each child; team equipment (baseballs, bats, helmets, hit sticks, tees, and where necessary, catcher's equipment), the field equipment (lines on the field, bases, pitching machines, etc.), the field rental fees, and administrative costs of running the league. |

• Promptness (players should arrive 5 minutes before practices and 10 minutes before games).
• A baseball glove
• A drink for practices and games
• Players must wear their HSA team tee shirt and hat to games
Optional: Cleats, baseball pants
Cleats: Metal spiked shoes or cleats are prohibited from HSA play - molded plastic cleats are OK
Baseball Pants: Age groups 7/8 and older must provide their own baseball pants and socks.
Bats & Balls: Please see specific age group rules for approved bat and ball sizes and types.

Athletic Suporter: Boys in age groups 5/6 and older must wear an athletic supporter.
Catchers: Catchers in age groups 5/6 and up must wear protective equipment which will be provided by HSA
Helmets: All batters and base runners must wear NOCSA approved helmets which will be provided by HSA
All parents are responsible for their children's and their behavior. Children are not to be dropped off at the field unless parents have made arrangements with another parent to watch them, and the coach is informed. We have asked coaches to sit any kids who are being disruptive and allow the parents to address those concerns. |
